Matthew Knight Arena, University of Oregon

Collective Tech provided telecommunications infrastructure and electronic physical security design for this 400,000 SF basketball arena and attached parking garage. The arena includes a competition arena with seating bowl, media spaces, practice and team spaces and back-of-house support spaces. In addition to wired connectivity there is infrastructure in place for the university to install wireless access points. The telecom design also includes a performance specification for a distributed antenna system, which supports cellular and public safety radio bands within the arena.

The security system is comprehensive including components housed in both the arena and the adjacent parking structure. The video surveillance system includes IP-based video cameras, which integrates into the existing public safety infrastructure.
