Blue Springs School District Central Office

Collective Tech provided telecommunications infrastructure and audio-visual system design for the addition and renovation of the Blue Springs School District Central Office. Once the addition was complete, the existing two-story structure was completely gutted and remodeled. The team designed a media-rich board meeting room with multiple flat-panel displays, multiple projectors, an audio system, and an audio-visual control system, which accounted for restricted space.

The existing building was the host site for a number of servers as well as a central point for much of the telecommunications within the district. To accommodate this, Collective Tech developed a phasing plan to allow for continued operation during the remodeling phase of the original building. Collective Tech worked with the owner, design team and construction team to develop contingency and phasing plans to accommodate the need to maintain virtually continuous operations.
